Description :
We hiked 1.2 miles from the trail head to this waterfall in the Smoky Mountain National Park near Gatlinburg, Tennessee. On the way there it started to snow. During this video you will hear me call out to my wife and daughter, trying to get their attention, to wave back. My daughter (the light blue blur) finally heard and obliged! |

During its open season, fresh supplies are brought up the mountain by llamas. Once a year, a helicopter airlift brings in most non-perishable supplies. This year's airlift took place Monday, March 17, 2008. This video is of a hike up the Alum Cave Bluff trail to watch the airlift. Published : 2008/04/27 Views : 619 |
