Rainbow Falls Hike, Gatlinburg, Tennessee
One of the smaller falls we had seen along the uphill hike towards Rainbow falls. Imagine how depressed we'd have been if THIS were the falls we'd have seen at the end of our two-hour journey to the top! Although it was nearly 60 degrees out the day we took the hike, there was still considerable ice forming on the rocks along the stream, as well as all over the waterfalls. 3/7/07
